NTPC Limited, Western Region–I successfully organised the Regional
Communication Meet (RCM) for WR-I Projects and Stations at Ratnagiri Gas and
Power Private Limited (RGPPL) on 19th and 20th January 2026, reaffirming its
commitment to transparent, inclusive, and effective internal communication.
The meeting was chaired by E. Satya Phani Kumar, Regional Executive Director
(West-I), and witnessed participation from Heads of Projects (HOPs), Regional
HOHR, HOHRs from Projects/Stations, and representatives of Unions and
Associations from across Western Region–I.In his keynote address, E. Satya Phani Kumar emphasised the importance of
addressing employee concerns in a time-bound and transparent manner,
reiterating that strong internal dialogue is a cornerstone of organisational harmony,
trust, and collective growth.
“Regional Communication Meetings serve as vital platforms for meaningful
engagement between management and employees. They enable open exchange of
views, address mutual concerns, and align collective efforts with the organisation’s
vision,” he stated. He further urged both management and union representatives to
ensure effective dissemination of decisions to the wider workforce, thereby
strengthening collaboration and mutual trust.
Addressing the representatives of Unions and Associations from WR-I Projects and
Stations, Vandana Chaturvedi, Regional Head of HR (West-I), highlighted the role
of RCMs in nurturing a people-centric and performance-driven culture. She
underscored that effective communication remains fundamental to organisational
success and sustained employee engagement.
As part of the programme, a presentation providing an overview of NTPC was
delivered by Kamal Deo, Senior Manager (OS), offering participants a
comprehensive perspective on the organisation’s operations, vision, and strategic
direction.
To further enhance awareness among participants, a special session on the New
Labour Codes was organised in view of the recent labour law reforms
introduced by the Government of India. The session was conducted by D. S. Rao,
Former Executive Director (HR), who provided valuable insights into the key

management.In addition, a presentation on the Nuclear Shanti Bill Act was delivered by
Shashidhar Uppar, AGM (Nuclear), to familiarise participants with recent legislative
