S.O. 2594(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by the clause 7(A) of Section 2 of the Railways
(Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008), the Central Government hereby authorizes the officer mentioned in column (2)
of the table below as the Competent Authority to perform the function of such authority under the said Act in respect
of area of the Special Railway Project “(1) Jabalpur - Manikpur section: Construction of Road Over Bridge in lieu
of Level Crossing No. 400 at Km 1235/8-9 between Tikariya - Markundi stations and (2) Satna - Manikpur
section: Construction of ROB in lieu of Level Crossing No. 403 at Km 1254/18-20 between Markundi - Manikpur
stations” under Jabalpur Division of West Central Railway in column (4) of the table in the State of Uttar Pradesh with
effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette.
