Sir, Ministry vide OM No. NH-15017/14/2022-P&M, dated 29" May, 2023 has mandated that all projects costing more than Rs. 500 crore (Civil work) shall be mandatorily consulted with NPG. Also Ministry vide circular No. RW/NH-34066/16/PM-GatiShakti/2023- 24 dated 26" June 2025 has further mandated that all greenfield projects costing more than Rs. 100 crore and length more than 10 km shall be mandatorily consulted with NPG. 2. It has been noticed that projects are being submitted for NPG consultation after submission of SFC proposals or PPPAC proposals. However projects should be submitted for NPG consultation after alignment approval when feasibility study is over. 3. Also during alignment committee meeting, project proponents must show the usage of Gati Shakti Portal in the finalisation of the alignment. This will not only enable the optimum alignment finalisation but also enable the least crossing options with underground utilities, over ground utilities and forest area etc. 4. Accordingly in order to leverage the advantages of PM Gatishakti Portal all the agencies, it is requested that (i) Projects must be submitted for NPG consultation after alignment approval & completion of feasibility study and not after submission of SFC / PPPA proposals. (ii) During alignment committee meeting, all project proponents must demonstrate the usage of PM Gati Shakti Portal for optimum fixation of alignment. (iii) Cross drainage requirements shall be assessed with reference to the National Data Base for Emergency Management(NDEM) and PM Gati shakti.
