No. 70, Agriculture Farmers Welfare Department, 14th March 2024] FORM - IV [See Rule 13 (1)] PRELIMINARY NOTIFICATION (Rc.No. C2/16660/2023) No. VI(1)/286/2024. Whereas it appears to the appropriate Government has given Administrative sanction that a total of Hec. 16.20.0 ares of land is required in Manavasi Villages in Krishnarayapuram Taluk of Karur District to construct Karur Agriculture College and Research Institute by Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in land Acquisition and Resettlement Act, 2013 where it is applied. The requesting department has not enter upon into the above lands. The Government is pleased to authorize Registrar, Tamil Nadu Agriculture University, Coimbatore, Tahsildar, Krishnarayapuram and his staff to enter upon a survey land, take levels of any land, dig or bore into the sub-soil and do all other acts required for the proper execution of their work as provided and specified in Section 12 of the said Act. Under sub-section (4) of Section 11 of the said Act, no person shall make any transaction or cause any transaction of land i.e sale/purchase, etc. or create any encumbrances on such land for the date of publication of the notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette without prior approval of the Collector. Objections to the land acquisition if any, may be filed by the person interested within 60 (sixty) days from the date of publication of this notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette as provided under Section 15 of the said Act before the Collector Karur.
