Ms. No. 63, Tamil Development and Information (Admin.II), 26th April 2017, CˆF¬ó 13, «ýM÷‹H, F¼õœÀõ˜ ݇´-2048.] No. SRO B-32/2017.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu, hereby makes the following amendments to the Rules published with the Public (Information and Public Relations. Administration-V) Department Notification No. SRO B-331/78, dated the 26th July, 1978 at Pages 381-386 of Part III-Section 1(b) of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated the 26th July, 1978. 2. The amendments hereby made shall come into force on 26th April 2017. AMENDMENTS In the said rules,-(1) in Rule 3, in the Table in Sl.No. 7 for the entries in column (2) against the Post “Junior Foreman” in the column (1) thereof, the following entries shall be substituted namely:- “(i) By promotion from the Post of Machine Operator in Tamilarasu Press; (ii) By transfer from any other class or category; (iii) By Recruitment by transfer from any other service; or (iv) By direct recruitment. (2) In rule 5 in sub-rule (b), in the table, in Sl. No. 7 for the entries in column (2) against the Post “Junior Foreman”, in the column (1) thereof, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:- “(i) For Promotion:- (1) Must have passed the S.S.L.C; and (2) Must possess the Diploma in Licentiate in Printing Technology issued by the State Board of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu; or National Trade Certificate in Letter Press Machine Minder or Compositor issued by the Government.
