NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT HOME, PROHIBITION AND EXCISE DEPARTMENT TAMIL NADU LIQUOR (LICENCE AND PERMIT) RULES, 1981. [G.O. (D) No. 184, Home, Prohibition and Excise (VIII), 25th June 2025, ஆனி 11, விசுவாாவாசு, திருவாள்ளுவார் ஆண்டு-2056.] No. SROA-17(c)/2025.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 54 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, 1937 (Tamil Nadu Act X of 1937) read with rule 54 of the Tamil Nadu Liquor (License and Permit) rules, 1981, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby exempts from the operation of rule 21 of the said rules, as a onetime measure in so far as it relates to the FL2/FL3 licence holders who have not remitted the renewal fee for the year 2025-2026 in time (i.e.) before

31.03.2025 and now shown willingness for payment of renewal fees and to permit them to renew their licences for the year 2025-2026, subject to payment of additional fees of 50% of prescribed licence fee on or before 30th June 2025.
