11) की धारा 16 द्वारा प्रदत्त िजियों के तित, भारत के रािपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II, खंड 3, उप-खंड (ii) म ें लीजनयर एल्काइल बेंिीन (गुणर्त्ता जनयंत्रण) आदेि, 2022 (जिसे इसमें इसके पश्चात उि आदेि किा गया िै) को का.आ. 1648(अ) के तित ददनांक 5 अप्रैल, 2022 को अजधसूजित दकया िै। और िबदक, वैश्विक स्तर पर व्याप्त संकट को देखते हुए, केंद्र सरकार न ेब्यूरो के परामर्श स ेआपूर्तश श्रृंखला म ेंव्यवधान का सृंज्ञान श्वलया ह ै और आश्वस्ट्त ह ै कक लीश्वनयर एल्काइल बेंजीन की उपलब्धता सुश्वनश्वित करने के श्वलए, उक्त आदेर् के सृंचालन को अस्थायी रूप से श्वनलृंश्वबत करना आवश्यक और समीिीन ह;ै अब, इसजलए भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो अश्वधश्वनयम 2016 (2016 का 11) की धारा 25 की उपधारा (3) के साथ पठित धारा 16 द्वारा प्रदत्त र्श्वक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए और यि राय रखते हुए दक लोकजित म ें ऐसा करना आर्श्यक िै, केंद्र सरकार भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो से परामर्श करने के पश्चात उक्त आदेर् म ेंश्वनम्नश्वलश्वखत सृंर्ोधन करती ह,ै अथाशत्:- लीश्वनयर एल्काइल बेंजीन (गुणवत्ता श्वनयृंत्रण) आदेर्, 2022 के पैरा 2 के, परंतुक में, 7493 GI/2026 (1)2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] "बिते दक उि माल और र्स्ट्तुओं की आपूर्तव श्रंखला में दकसी भी व्यर्धान को रोकने के जलए, ऐसे भारतीय मानक की पुजि 1 अप्रैल, 2026 से 31 ददसंबर, 2026 की अर्जध के जलए लागू निीं िोगी"। [फा. सं. पीसी-II 46016/6/2020-टेक.सीपीसी पीटी-1] डॉ. िी. र्ेंकटेि,संयुक् त सजिर् नोट: लीश्वनयर एल्काइल बेंजीन (गुणवत्ता श्वनयृंत्रण) आदेर्, 2022 भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II, खृंड 3, उप-खडृं

(ii) म ें का.आ. 1648(अ) के तित तारीख 5 अप्रैल, 2022 को प्रकाश्वर्त ककया गया था और अृंश्वतम बार तारीख 25 िून, 2026 की अश्वधसूचना का.आ. 3456(अ) द्वारा सृंर्ोश्वधत ककया गया था। MINISTRY OF CHEMICALS AND FERTILIZERS (Department Of Chemicals And Petrochemicals)

ORDER New Delhi, the 29th September, 2026 S.O. 5343(E).— Whereas, the Central Government has published the Linear Alkyl Benzene (Quality Control)

Order, 2022 in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3, sub-section (ii), vide S.O. 1648 (E), the dated 5th April, 2022 (hereinafter to referred as the said Order) in the public interest under the powers conferred by section 16 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016);

And whereas, in view of the exigencies prevailing globally, the Central Government, in consultation with the Bureau, has taken cognizance of the supply chain disruption and is satisfied that to ensure availability of the Linear Alkyl Benzene, it is necessary and expedient to suspend the operation of the said Order temporarily;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 read with sub-section (3) of section 25 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), and being of the opinion that it is necessary so to do in the public interest, the Central Government, after consultation with the Bureau of Indian Standards, hereby makes the following amendment to further amend the said Order, namely:- In the Linear Alkyl Benzene (Quality Control) Order, 2022, in paragraph 2, for the proviso, the following proviso shall be substituted, namely:

“Provided that to prevent any disruption of supply chain of the said goods and articles, the confirmation to such Indian Standard shall not be applicable for the period from the 1st April, 2026 to 31st December, 2026”.

Note: The Linear Alkyl Benzene (Quality Control) Order, 2022 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3, sub-section (ii), vide number S.O. 1648 (E), dated the 5th April, 2022, and last amended vide

notification number S.O 3456(E), the dated the 25th June, 2026.
