No. 37-3/Legal/AICTE/2014. — In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) and (2) of section 23 read with Section sub-section (1) & (2) of Section 8 of the All India Council for Technical Education Act, 1987 (52 of 1987), the All India Council for Technical Education hereby frames following Regulations amending the “All India Council for Technical Education (National Employability Enhancement Mission (NEEM) Regulations, 2013”. These Regulations may be called the “All India Council for Technical Education (National Employability Enhancement Mission (NEEM) Regulations, 2013” (1st Amendment) and will deem to have come into force with effect from the date of publication in the Gazette of India. The provisions contained in Article 3 of “All India Council for Technical Education (National Employability Enhancement Mission (NEEM) Regulations. 2013” ELIGIBILITY OF A NEEM AGENT shall stand amended and be substituted by the following provision: 3.2 NEEM Agent shall be in the business of training for at least five years or the parent company under which a section 25 company is formed to meet the objective of NEEM shall be in the business of training for at least five years. 3.6 The NEEM agent shall have the capacity to place at least 10,000 students per year in registered companies or registered industries for the purpose of providing training under the objectives of NEEM or a section 25 company is formed to meet the objective of NEEM shall have the capacity to place at least 10,000 students per year in registered companies or registered industries for the purpose of providing training under the objectives of NEEM.
