The Bureau of Indian Standards hereby notifies that the Indian Standard, particulars of which is given in the second column of Schedule hereto annexed has been established on the date indicated against it in third column. The particulars of the standard which is given in the fourth column shall also remain in force concurrently till it is cancelled on the date indicated against it in the fifth column.
This notification, S.O. 741(E), issued by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and published in the Gazette of India on March 13, 2015, announces the establishment of Indian Standard IS 3110: 2015 for Silver Leaf Specification, First Revision (replacing IS 3110:1982, Second Revision). Effective February 28, 2015, IS 3110: 2015 establishes the updated standard. Copies of this standard are available for purchase at the Bureau of Indian Standards, Manak Bhavan, 9, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi 110002, its regional offices in Kolkata, Chandigarh, Chennai, and Mumbai, and branch offices in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Coimbatore, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Nagpur, Patna, Pune and Kochi or online at http:www.standardsbis.in. The notification is issued in pursuance of Clause (b) of subrule (1) of Rule 7 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Rules, 1987.
