The Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following further amendments in the Notification of the Govt of India in the Ministry of Finance, (Department of Revenue) number 64-94-Customs (N.T), dated the 21st November, 1994.
This notification, No. 24/2015-Customs (N.T.), issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, on February 16, 2015, amends Notification No. 64/94-Customs (N.T.), dated November 21, 1994. The amendment, made in exercise of powers conferred by clause (d) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962, designates Bhogat port as a coastal port for coastal trade in crude petroleum. Furthermore, in the table within the principal notification, under serial number 5 concerning the State of Gujarat, entry "24 Bhogat" is inserted in column 3 after entry 23. The notification is issued under F. No. 574132014-LC and signed by Satyajit Mohanty, Director, ICD. The principal notification was originally published as S.O. 831(E) on November 21, 1994, and last amended by Notification No. 25/2012-Customs (N.T.), dated March 23, 2012, S.O. 579(E) dated 23.03.2012.

S.O. 526 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962),
the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following further amendments in the Notification of the
Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, (Department of Revenue) number 64/94 -Customs (N.T), dated the
21st November, 1994, namely :-
In the said notification,-
(a) after the second proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:-
"Provided also that Bhogat port is appointed to be coastal port for carrying on of coastal trade in crude petroleum:
(b) in the TABLE, against serial number 5 relating to the State of Gujarat, in column (3), after entry (23), the
following serial number and entry relating thereto shall be inserted, namely:-
"(24) Bhogat".
