New Delhi, the 22nd January, 2020
F.No.16(35)/2018-NERS.—The Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the
Government of India, Ministry of Commerce & Industry’s Notification No.16(35)/2018-NER dated 1st January,
2019 titled “Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar Islands Industrial Development Scheme (LANIDS), 2018
as published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary Part I, Section 1, dated 7th January, 2019 :—
1. In paragraph 3 under the heading “Commencement and duration” for the words: “It will be
effective from 01.04.2018 and will remain in force up to 31.03.2020 with committed liabilities accrued up to
31st March, 2025 for units registered up to 31.03.2020” following may be substituted: “It will be effective from
01.04.2018 and will remain in force up to 31.03.2021 with committed liabilities accrued up to 31st March,
2025 for units registered up to 31.03.2021”.
