New Delhi, the 23rdDecember, 2019
F. No. 2(2)/2018-SPS.—The Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Government
of India Notification No. 2(2)/2018-SPS dated the 23rd April, 2018 and Notification No. 2(2)/2018-SPS 1st January, 2019
titled ‘Industrial Development Scheme for the State of Jammu & Kashmir, 2017’ as per “The State of Jammu & Kashmir
Reorganisation Act, 2019” and will be applicable on and from the “appointed day” i.e. 31st day of October, 2019 as per
Ministry of Home Affairs’ Notification No. S.O. 2889(E) dated 9th August, 2019.
i) The title of the Scheme may be read as:-
‘Industrial Development Scheme, 2017 for Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh.
ii) Para 1 of the Scheme may be read as follows:-
The Scheme shall be called ‘Industrial Development Scheme, 2017 for Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and
Union Territory of Ladakh.
iii) The Scheme shall cover theUnion Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh.
iv) The name State of Jammu & Kashmir, wherever applicable in the notification no. 2(2)/2018-SPS dated 23.04.2018
may be read as Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh.
v) The name State of Jammu & Kashmir, wherever applicable in the notification no. 2(2)/2018-SPS dated 01.01.2019
may be read as Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh.
II) Nodal Agency
Para 8 of Notification No. 2(2)/2018-SPSdated 23.04.2018 may be read as follows:
The Jammu & Kashmir Development Finance Corporation Limited (JKDFC) will be the nodal agency for disbursal of
incentives under various components of the Scheme for Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and Union Territory
of Ladakh.
