NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 5th November, 2014
S.O. 2828( E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 3 of the Spices Board Act, 1986 (10
of 1986) read with rules 4 and 5 of the Spices Board Rules, 1987, the Central Government hereby appoints the following
persons as members of the Spices Board for a period of three years from the date of publication of this notification in the
Official Gazette or till he ceases to be a member of the Lok Sabha, whichever is earlier, and for that purpose makes the
following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry
(Department of Commerce) number S.O. 123(E), dated the 26th February, 1987, namely:—
In the said notification, under the heading, “Appointed under clause (b) of sub-rule (1) of rule 4”, for serial numbers 2
and 3 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall be substituted, namely:-
“2. Shri Prathap Simha, Member
Member of Parliament, (Elected by Lok Sabha)
Lok Sabha.
3. Shri B.S.Yeddyurappa, Member
Member of Parliament, (Elected by Lok Sabha)”
