Smt. Alka Kala, IAS (Retired) —Chairman 69-A, Bajaj Nagar Enclave, Jaipur 2. Shri Sankantha Prasad, IFS (Retired) —Member 250, GOM Defense Colony, 1st Avenue, Vaishali Nagar, Jaipur, Rajasthan 3. Secretary, Department of Environment, Government of —Member-Secretary Rajasthan 2. The Chairman and non official Member of the Authority for Rajasthan shall hold office for a term of three years from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette. 3. The Authority for Rajasthan shall exercise such powers and follow the procedures as specified in the said notification. 4. The Authority for Rajasthan shall base its decision on the recommendations of the State Level Expert Appraisal Committee (SEAC) constituted under paragraph 5 for the State of Rajasthan. 5. The SEAC for Rajasthan shall exercise the powers and follow the procedures as specified in the said notification. 8. The SEAC for Rajasthan shall function on the principle of collective responsibility and the Chairman shall endeavor to reach a consensus in each case, and if consensus cannot be reached, the view of the majority shall prevail. 9. The State Government of Rajasthan shall notify an agency to act as Secretariat for the Authority for Rajasthan and SEAC for Rajasthan and shall provide all financial and logistic support including accommodation, transportation and such other facilities in respect of all its statutory functions. 10. The sitting fee, travelling allowance and dearness allowance to the Chairman and Member of the Authority for Rajasthan and the Chairman and Members of SEAC for Rajasthan shall be paid in accordance with the concerned rules of the State Government of Rajasthan.
