NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 24th September, 2014
S.O. 2505(E).–Whereas, M/s. Aspen Infrastructures Ltd. (formerly M/s. Synefra Engineering and Construction
Limited)., a private organization in the State of Gujarat, has proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones
Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for
Engineering at village Alwa and Pipalia, Taluka Waghodia, District Vadodara in the State of Gujarat;
And, Whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of
the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules, 2006, had notified the following areas as Special
Economic Zone, as per the details given below:-

Special Economic Zone;
And, Whereas, the State Government of Gujarat has given its “No Objection” to the proposal vide letter No.
IC/Infra/SEZ-Cell/984675., dated 25th August, 2014;
And Whereas, the Development Commissioner, Kandla Special Economic Zone has recommended the proposal
for de-notification of an area of 52.4588 hectares of the Special Economic Zone;
And, Whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the
said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled;
Now, Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the
Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central
Government hereby de-notifies an area of 52.4588 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 52.7610 hectares,
comprising the survey numbers and the area given below in the table, namely:-
