The Central Govt. hereby declares each of the highways specified in the column (3) of the Table below to be a national highway, as specified in the corresponding column (2) thereof.
This notification, issued by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways on January 12, 2015, declares a new national highway in the state of Manipur. The notification, S.O. 132(E), is issued in exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 2 of section 2 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956). The declared highway is assigned the new National Highway number 137A. It starts from its junction with new NH No. 37 near Khumbong, connecting Nambol, Mayang Imphal, and terminating at its junction with new NH No. 102 near Kakching Lamkhai. This highway is deemed inserted into the Schedule to the National Highways Act, 1956. The file number for this notification is NH14012182014PM. The Director is Maya Prakash.

S.O. 132(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 2 of the National Highways
Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government hereby declares each of the
highways specified in the column (3) of the Table below to be a national highway, as specified in the corresponding
column (2) thereof.
The highways, now declared to be national highways by this notification, shall be deemed to be inserted in the
Schedule to the said Act with the new serial numbers, the new national highways numbers and the description of the
national highways thereof, as indicated in columns (1), (2) and (3) respectively, of the Table.
