The Central Govt. hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Govt. of India in the Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways number S.O. 2594(E), dated 17th November, 2011.

New Delhi, the 18th September, 2014
S.O. 2440(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 7 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of
1956), read with rule 3 of the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008, the Central
Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of
Road, Transport and Highways number S.O. 2594(E), dated 17th November, 2011, published in the Gazette of India,
Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), namely:-
In the said notification, under the Notes the existing para 4:-
4. The fee shall be collected at the following location of Toll Plaza for the length specified:
Location of Toll Plaza Length (in km) for which Fee payable
Km 42.00 of National Highway No.—6 For 80.90 Kms length of the section and for 7.30 Kms of Baragarh
bypass, the estimated cost of which is rupees 74.00 Crores.
Shall be substituted as:-
4. The fee shall be collected at the following location of Toll Plaza for the length specified :
Location of Toll Plaza Length (in km) for which Fee payable
Km 41.00 of National Highway No.—6 For 80.90 Kms length of the section and for 7.30 Kms of Baragarh

In the said notification, existing para 5:-
5. Exemption from payment of fee, rates of fee for overloaded vehicles, discounts in rates etc. shall be in accordance
with the said rules.
Shall be substituted as:-
