The Central Govt. hereby makes the following amendments in notification of the Govt. of India in the Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways number S.O. 924(E), dated the 29th April, 2011.
This notification, S.O. 1624(E), issued by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways on June 27, 2014, makes amendments to notification S.O. 924(E), dated April 29, 2011, under the authority of Section 3(a) of the National Highways Act, 1956. The amendments pertain to the designated authorities for land acquisition related to specific stretches of a national highway. Specifically, for the stretch from Km. 340.860 to Km. 368.500, the "Officer In-charge Land Acquisition Branch, Collector Office, Guna" is replaced by the "Sub-Divisional Officer, Revenue, Raghogarh." NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 27th June, 2014
S.O. 1624(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Section 3 of the National Highways Act,
1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in notification of the Government
of India in the Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways number S.O. 924(E), dated the 29th April, 2011, published in
the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 29th April, 2011, namely :—
(i) The entry against serial no. (4) in column (2) "Officer Incharge Land Acquisition Branch Collector Office
Guna" shall be substituted with "Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue), Raghogarh" for stretch of land in
column (3) Km. 340.860 to Km. 368.500 only.
(ii) In column (1) after the entry at serial no."(4)" the entry "4(a)" and its corresponding entry in colum 2 the
competent authority "Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue), Chachoda" shall be inserted for the stretch of
land in column (3) Km. 368.500 to Km. 370.950 and Km. 370.950 to Km. 404.220.
