The Central Govt. hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Govt. of India in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change number. S.O. 814(E), dated the 23rd March, 2015.
This notification, issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change on May 11, 2015, announces amendments to a previous notification (S.O. 814(E), dated March 23, 2015) regarding the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). The amendments, made in exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 and Subsection 6 of Section 5 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, substitute entries for serial numbers 11 and 14. Specifically, Shri Vivek Narayan Shejwalkar, Member Mayor Municipal Corporation, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, replaces the previous entry for serial number 11. Similarly, Dr. Sukumar Devotta, Member ExDirector, National Environmental Engineering research Institute, Nagpur, replaces the previous entry for serial number 14. The original notification constituting the CPCB was published on September 21, 1974, vide number G.S.R. 998(E). New Delhi, the 11th May, 2015
S.O. 1250(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 and sub-section (6) of section 5 of
the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 (6 of 1974), the Central Government hereby makes
the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Environment,
Forest and Climate Change number. S.O. 814(E), dated the 23rd March, 2015, namely:—
In the said notification,—
(i) for serial number 11 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries
shall be substituted, namely:—
“11. Shri Vivek Narayan Shejwalkar, —Member”
Mayor
Municipal Corporation,
Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh
(ii ) for serial number 14 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries
shall be substituted, namely:—
“14. Dr. Sukumar Devotta, —Member”
