The Central Govt. hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Govt. of India, in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) vide number S.O 689(E), dated, the 4th April, 2011.
This notification, S.O. 1410(E), issued by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and published in the Gazette of India on May 26, 2015, pertains to an amendment to the National Highways Act, 1956. Specifically, it modifies the schedule of the Act by substituting the entry for serial number 169. The amendment redefines highway 169 as a 50-km stretch starting from its junction with new NH No. 161 at Nanded in the State of Maharashtra connecting Udgir, Bidar, Homnabad, Gulbarga, Jevargi, Bijapur, Hospet and terminating at its junction with NH48 near Lakshmisagara in the State of Karnataka. S.O. 1410(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 2 of the National Highways Act,
1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the
Government of India, in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary,
Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) vide number S.O 689(E), dated, the 4th April, 2011, namely:-
In the Schedule, for serial number 169 and entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely: -

“169 50 The highway starting from its junction with new NH No. 161 at Nanded in the State of
Maharashtra connecting Udgir, Bidar, Homnabad, Gulbarga, Jevargi, Bijapur, Hospet and
terminating at its junction with NH-48 near Lakshmisagara in the State of Karnataka.
