The Central Govt. hereby rescinds the Notification No. S.O. 2304(E), dated 29-09-2008 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) of Govt. of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways.
This notification, S.O. 2442(E), issued by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, on September 18, 2014, rescinds Notification No. S.O. 2304(E) dated September 29, 2008. The rescission is enacted under the authority of Section 7 of the National Highways Act, 1956, read with Rule 3 of the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008. This action is taken in consideration of the Concession Agreement dated February 29, 2012, between the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and M/s. Solapur Tollways Private Limited. The agreement pertains to the four-laning of the Solapur to Maharashtra/Karnataka Border section (km 249.000 to km 348.800) of National Highway 9 in the State of Maharashtra, under the National Highways Development Project (NHDP) Phase-III, executed on a Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis. The file number for reference is NHAI-13013/75/5/CO-13/14/GC-Solapur-Maharashtra/Karnataka Border Section/BOT. The Joint Secretary, Alkesh Sharma, issued the notification.

1956), read with Rule 3 of the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008, the Central
Government hereby rescinds the Notification No. S.O. 2304(E), dated 29-09-2008 published in the Gazette of India ,
Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) of Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Shipping, Road
Transport and Highways (Department of Road Transport and Highways) in view of the provisions in the Concession
Agreement entered on 29-02-2012 between National Highways Authority of India and M/s. Solapur Tollways Private
Limited for Four Laning of Solapur (km. 249.000)–Maharashtra/Karnataka Border (km. 348.800) Section of NH-9 in the
