S.O.1336(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of
1956) read with Rule 3 of the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules 2008, the Central
Government by notifications number S.O. 3121(E), dated 10th December, 2014 and S.O. 3122(E), dated 10th December,
2014 of the Government of India has authorized National Highways Authority of India (the “Authority”) to levy and
collect fee on mechanical vehicles for the use of Karur - Kangeyam Section from km 218.200 to km 277.400 (KC-1
Package) and Kangeyam – Coimbatore Section from km 277.400 to km 332.600 (KC-2 Package) of NH – 67 in the State
of Tamil Nadu respectively.
Now, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 8A of the National Highways Act 1956, (48 of 1956) read
with Rule 3 of the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008, the Central Government
hereby rescinds the notifications number S.O. 3121(E) dated 10th December, 2014 and S.O. 3122(E) dated 10th
December, 2014.
