S.O. 601(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of Sub-section (1) read with Sub-
section (3) of Section 20 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 (68 of 1986), the Central Government, on the
recommendation of the Selection Committee, hereby appoints Smt. Merla Shreesha, as whole-time Member
of the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission with effect from the forenoon of the 22nd day of
January, 2015, for a period of five years, or until she attains the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier, on the
terms and conditions prescribed in the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 read with the Consumer Protection
Rules, 1987 as amended from time to time.
