The Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes an amendment in paragraph l.1 of the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.1 (RE-2013) by substituting the phrase shall remain in force until 31st March, 2014.
This Public Notice No. 51/RE-2013/2009-2014, issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry on February 19, 2014, amends paragraph 1.1 of the Handbook of Procedures, Vol. 1, RE-2013. The amendment replaces the phrase "shall remain in force until 31st March, 2014" with "shall remain in force until further orders." Consequently, the existing Handbook of Procedure Vol.I 2009-14 RE-2013, which was to remain in force until March 31, 2014, is extended until further orders to maintain continuity in the policy environment. The amended paragraph 1.1 pertains to the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) and compilation of HBP vI, HBP v2 and Schedule of DEPB rates. The effect of this notification is that the compilations, as amended from time to time, shall remain in force until further orders, except DEPB scheme, which was in operation till 30th September, 2001.
