(1) िीर्कग एव ं प्रारंभ-(1) इन जनयमों को के्‍द्रीय मोटर यान संिोधन) जनयम 20 कहा िाएगा। (... ... , 20 (2) ये जनयम सरकारी रािपत्र में उनके अंजतम प्रकािन की जतजथ से लागू होंगे। 2. केंद्रीय मोटर यान जनयमावली, 1989 (इसके बाि उक् त जनयमों के रूप में उजल् लजखत) में जनयम 76 में उप-जनयमों (8) में जनम्नजलजखत िब् िों और को्‍ कों "तथाजप, वे एक समान फ़ॉ्‍ट और रंग में (अथागत ,् काले रंग की पृष्ठभूजम पर सफेि रंग में संख्याए ं और अक्षर), लेदकन उनके वाहनों के अजधकतम िो पर पंिीकरण संख्या स े छोटे अक्षरों म ें सीसी (मानि) के बाि ििे के नाम के िब्ि का उपयोग कर सकते ह"ैं , को लोप दकया िाएगा। 3. उक्त जनयमों में , जनयम 76ए में खंड (क) और (ख) के जलए जनम्नजलजखत को अंत:स्ट्थाजपत दकया िाएगा , नामत: - "(क) उप-जनयम (6) में , "सीडी" अक्षरों के जलए , संयाि राष्ट्र संग नों तथा इसकी एिेंजसयों के मामल े में अक्षर "यूएन" और अंतरागष्ट्रीय संग न तथा अ्‍य एिेंजसयों के मामले में अक्षर "आईओडी" को अंत:स्ट्थाजपत दकया िाएगा ; तथा (ख) उप-जनयम (7) में , "सीसी" अक्षरों के जलए , संयिा राष्ट्र संग नों तथा इसकी एिेंजसयों के मामले में अक्षर "यूएन" और अंतरागष्ट्रीय संग न तथा अ्‍य एिेंजसयों के मामले में अक्षर "आईओसी" को अंत:स्ट्थाजपत दकया िाएगा। सं. आरटी एमवीएल [ -11028/04/2019- ] जप्रयांक भारती, संयाक् त सजचव रटप्प णी: माख्य जनयम भारत के रािपत्र, असाधारण, भाग- II, खंड 3, उपधारा (i) की अजधसूचना संख्या सा.का.जन. 590 (अ), 2 िून, 1989 को प्रकाजित दकए गए थे और जपछली बार संिोधन अजधसूचना संख् या सा.का.जन.......... (अ), दिनांदकत........द्वारा दकया गया था। MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 16th March, 2020 G.S.R. 177 (E).— The draft of certain rules further to amend the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, which the Central Government proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by section 42 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988) is hereby published as required by sub-section (1) of section 212 of the said Act for information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft rules shall be[भाग II—खण् ड 3(i)] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 3 taken into consideration after expiry of a period of thirty days from the date on which the copies of this notification as published in the Official Gazette are made available to the public; Objections or suggestions, if any, may be sent to the Joint Secretary (MVL), Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Transport Bhawan, Parliament Street, New Delhi - 110 001 or by email at jspb-morth@gov.in within the period specified above; Objections or suggestions which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft rules before the expiry of the period aforesaid will be considered by the Central Government. DRAFT RULES 1. (1) Short title and commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Central Motor Vehicles (………… Amendment) Rules, 2020. (2) These rules shall come into force on the date of final publication in the official Gazette. 2. In Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, (hereinafter referred as said rules), in rule 76, in sub-rule (8), the following words and brackets “They may, however, use the word "name of the country followed by CC (Honorary)" in the same font and colour (i.e., the numbers and letters in white colour on black background) but in letters smaller than the registration number on a maximum of two of their vehicles.” shall be omitted. 3. In the said rules, in rule 76A for the clause (a) and (b) the following shall be substituted, namely:- “(a) In sub-rule (6), for the letters “CD”, the letters “UN” in case of United Nations Organizations and its agencies and the letters “IOD” in case of International Organization and other agencies shall be substituted; and. (b) In sub-rule (7), for the letters “CC”, the letters “UN” shall be substituted in case of United Nations Organization and its agencies and the letters “IOC” in case of International Organization and other agencies shall be substituted”.
