NOTIFICATION The draft of the Karnataka General Service (Motor Vehicles Branch) (Recruitment) Rules, 2020 which the Government of Karnataka proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by section (3) read with the section (8) of the Karnataka State Civil Services at, 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990) is hereby published as required by clause (a) of sub section (2) of section (3) of the said Act, for the information of all persons likely to be effected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft will be taken into consideration after fifteen days from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. Any objection or suggestion which may be received by the State Government from any person with respect to the said draft before the expiry of the period specified above, will be considered by the State Government. objections and suggestion may be addressed to the Principal Secretary to Government, Transport Department, 3rd Gate, 1st Floor, M.S. Building, Bengaluru-560 001.2 DRAFT RULES 1. Title and Commencement:- (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka General Service (Motor Vehicles Branch) (Recruitment) Rules, 2020. (2) They shall come into force from the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Method of recruitment and minimum qualification:- The establishment of the Karnataka General Service (Motor Vehicles Branch) shall consist of the category of posts with scales of pay specified in column (2) of schedule below, their number, the method of recruitment and the minimum qualification, if any, shall be as specified in the corresponding entries in column (3), (4) and (5) thereof. 3. Repeal and savings:- The Karnataka General Services (Motor Vehicles Branch) (Recruitment) Rules, 2013 are hereby repealed: Provided that such repeal shall not effect,- (a)the previous operation of the said rules or anything duly done or any action taken under the said rules; or (b) any right, privilege, obligation or liability already acquired, accrued or incurred under the said rules.
