New Delhi, the 26th March, 2014
O.N. 75(E).—Whereas, the Election Commission of India by its Notification No. 464/2014/(3A), dated
15th March, 2014 issued under Section 30 read with Section 56 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of
1951) has fixed “Hours of Poll” from 7.00 AM to 4.00 PM for the polls to be taken on 10th April, 2014 in respect of 12-
Gadchiroli-Chimur (ST) Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Maharashtra.
Whereas, after considering the reports of Chief Electoral Officer, Maharashtra and District Election Officer of
Gadchiroli District and taking into account all other material circumstances, the Election Commission of India is satisfied
it is desirable to conduct the poll from 7.00 AM to 3.00 PM in respect of 4 (Four) Assembly Constituencies viz. 66-
Amgaon (ST), 67- Armori (ST), 68- Gadchiroli (ST) and 69- Aheri (ST) Assembly Constituencies of
12-Gadchiroli-Chimur (ST) Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Maharashtra due to serious issues of Law & Order
related situations,
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 56 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951
read with Section 21 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (10 of 1897), the Election Commission of India hereby makes the
following amendment in its Notification No. 464/2014/(3A), dated 15th March, 2014 referred to above, namely:—
In the Table below the Schedule to the said Notification, for the existing entry in column (3), against
12-Gadchiroli-Chimur (ST) Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Maharashtra, the following entries shall be
