Representation of the People Act, 1950 (43 of 1950), the Election Commission of India, in consultation with
the State Government, hereby directs that the following amendments shall be made in its Notification No.
508/MT/2008 dated 29/7/2008, relating to appointment of District Election Officer in Maharashtra State and
area of their jurisdiction;
