(1997 की संख्या 2) के पररजनयम 12 म ें जनम्नजलजखत संिोधन को 2 अप्रैल, 2025 को राष्ट्रपजत की स्ट्िीकृजत प्राप्त हो गई ह ै
तथा इस े सिूसाधारण की िानकारी के जलए प्रकाजित ककया िा रहा ह।ै
(1) कायूकारी पररषद म ेंजनम्नजलजखत सदस्ट्य सजम्मजलत होंग,े अथाूत्:
(i) कुलपजत
(ii) सम-कुलपजत
(iii) सजचि (उच्चतर जिक्षा), जिक्षा मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार या उनके द्वारा नाजमत व्यजि, पदने सदस्ट्य।
(iv) अध्ययन संकायों के संकायाध्यक्षों में से चार सदस्ट्य, िररष्ठता के अनुसार चक्रानुक्रम से, कुलपजत द्वारा जनयिु
ककए िाएंगे;

(v) एक प्रोफेसर िो संकायाध्यक्ष नहीं ह,ै िररष्ठता के अनुसार चक्रानुक्रम द्वारा कुलपजत द्वारा जनयिु ककया िाएगा;
(vi) एक रीडर/एसोजसएट प्रोफेसर, िररष्ठता के अनुसार चक्रानुक्रम द्वारा, कुलपजत द्वारा जनयिु ककया िाएगा
(vii) एक व्याख्याता/सहायक प्रोफेसर, िररष्ठता के अनुसार चक्रानुक्रम द्वारा, कुलपजत द्वारा जनयुि ककया िाएगा
(viii) कोटू के दो सदस्ट्य, जिनम ेंसे कोई भी जिश्वजिद्यालय या जिश्वजिद्यालय द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त या उससे संबद्ध ककसी
संस्ट्थान का कमूचारी या छात्र नहीं होगा, जिन्ह ें कुलाध्यक्ष द्वारा नाजमत ककया िाएगा; तथा
(ix) िैक्षजणक और सािूिजनक िीिन में जिजिष्ट योगदान देने िाले चार व्यजियों, जिन्ह ेंकुलाध्यक्ष द्वारा नाजमत ककया
िाएगा;
(x) मजहला जिक्षा और दरद स्ट्थ जिक्षा के जनदेिकों की जनयुजि कुलपजत द्वारा की िाएगी
(2) कुलपजत, सम-कुलपजत और सजचि (उच्चतर जिक्षा), जिक्षा मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार या उनके द्वारा नाजमत, पदेन सदस्ट्य
को छोड़कर कायूकारी पररषद के सभी सदस्ट्य तीन िषू की अिजध के जलए पद ग्रहण करेंगे।
(3) कायूकारी पररषद के कुल सदस्ट्यों में से आधे, अध्यक्ष को छोड़कर, कायूकारी पररषद की बैठक के जलए गणपदर्तू(कोरम)
करेंगे।
(4) यकद कायूकारी पररषद का कोई सदस्ट्य संसद सदस्ट्य (लोकसभा/राज्यसभा) बनन े के पररणामस्ट्िरूप केन्रीय मंत्री/राज्य
मंत्री/उपमंत्री या लोकसभा अध्यक्ष/उप अध्यक्ष या राज्यसभा के उपसभापजत के रूप में मंजत्रमंडल में िाजमल हो िाता
ह,ै तो जिश्वजिद्यालय की कायूकारी पररषद में उसका नामांकन/जनिाूचन समाप्त माना िाएगा।

NOTIFICATION
Hyderabad, the 11th September, 2025
F. No. MANUU/ER-(B)/F. No. 138.— The following amendment of Statutes 12 of Maulana Azad National
Urdu University Act, 1996 (No.2 of 1997) received the assent of the President on the 2nd April, 2025 and hereby
published for general information
(1) The Executive Council shall consist of the following members, namely:
(i). Vice-Chancellor
(ii). Pro-Vice Chancellor
(iii) The Secretary (Higher Education), Ministry of Education, Government of India or his/her nominee, ex-
officio member.
(iv). Four members from among Deans of Schools of Studies, by rotation according to seniority, to be
