F. No. BS/XI/11/01/2025-26.—The following correction is hereby made in the notification F. No.
BS/XI/11/01/2025-26, the Bureau of Indian Standards (Conformity Assessment) Amendment Regulations, 2026 dated
the 25th February, 2026 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary [Part-III, Section-4], namely:—
(1) at page 70 for substitution of the sub-paragraph (1) of the paragraph 8 in Scheme-IV in Schedule-II of the
Bureau of Indian Standards (Conformity Assessment) Regulations, 2018, the sentence “The certificate of
conformity shall be granted initially for five years.” shall be read as “The certificate of conformity shall be
granted initially upto five years."
