XXIII of 2013) stipulates Maharashtra State Board of Nursing and State Board of Nursing and Paramedical Education to be the Examining Body for General Nursing & Paramedical Education, Midwifery (GNM), Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM) and Health Mumbai on or after Visitors (HV) qualifications. Maharashtra State Board of Nursing and 2nd December, 2018. Paramedical Education has applied to the Indian Nursing Council constituted under the INC Act, 1947 (XLVIII of 1947), as amended from time to time, that the qualification granted by it in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM), Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM) and Health Visitors (HV) be recognized for the purpose of the said Act on or after 2nd December, 2018. Now, the Council at its meeting held on 2nd December, 2018 for the said purpose resolved that the following qualifications when granted on or after 2nd December, 2018 shall be recognized qualifications for the purpose of the said Act namely:- “General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM), Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM) and Health Visitors (HV) qualification granted by the Maharashtra State Board of Nursing and Paramedical Education on or after 2nd December, 2018.” Dr. T.
