(ii) उप-जिजनयम (ञ) के जलए, जनम्नजलजखत को प्रजतस्ट्थाजपत दकया िाएगा, अथाात:् "(ञ) ‘प्रजतजनयुजि' का अथ ाभती का एक जिजध ह ैिहां केंद्र सरकार के जिभागों या राज्य सरकारों या संघराज्य क्षेत्रों के अजधकाठरयों को एक सीजमत अिजध के जलए भारतीय खाद्य सुरक्षा और मानक प्राजधकरण में पद(पदों) पर जनयुि दकया िाता ह,ै जिसका समाजि तक उन्ह ेंअपने मलू संिगा म ेंलौटना होगा;"; (2) जिजनयम '6' म,ें उप-जिजनयम (5) म,ें खंड (ख) म ें"पदच्युत कर ददया गया ह"ै िब्दों के स्ट्थान पर "पद्चुय्त नहीं दकया गया ह"ै प्रजतस्ट्थाजपत दकया िाएगा; (3) जिजनयम '12' म,ें - (i) उप-जिजनयम (2) का लोप दकया िाएगा; No. HR-12011/2/2021-HR-FSSAI.—The following draft of certain regulations to further to amend the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (Recruitment and Appointment) Regulations, 2018, which the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, proposes to make with previous approval of the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (a) of sub-section 2 of section 92 read with sub-section (2) and (3) of section 9 of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 (34 of 2006) is hereby published as required by the said sub-section (1) of section 92 of the said Act, for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby; and notice is hereby given that the said draft regulations shall be taken into consideration after the expiry of the period of sixty days from the date on which the copies of the Official Gazette in which this notification is published are made available to the public; Objections or suggestions, if any, may be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, FDA Bhawan, Kotla Road, New Delhi-110002 or sent on email at estt@fssai.gov.in ; The objections and suggestions, which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft regulations before the expiry of the period so specified, will be considered by the Food Authority. Draft regulations 1.Short title and commencement. - (1) These regulations may be called the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (Recruitment and Appointment) First Amendment Regulations, 2022. 2.In the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (Recruitment and Appointment) Regulations, 2018, (herein after refer as said regulations), - (1) In regulation ‗2‘ relating to ‗Definitions‘,- (i) for sub-regulation (e), the following shall be substituted, namely: ―(e) ‗Chief Executive Officer‘ means the Chief Executive Officer of the Food Authority appointed under Section 9 (1) of the Act by the Central Government;‖; (ii) for sub-regulation (j), the following shall be substituted, namely: ―(j) Deputation‘ means a method of recruitment where officers of Central Government Departments or State Governments or Union Territories from outside are appointed to post(s) in Food Safety and Standards Authority of India for a limited period, by the end of which they will have to return to their parent cadres;‖.; (2) In regulation ‗6‘, in sub-regulation (5), in clause (b) for the words ―has been dismissed‖ shall be substituted with ―has not been dismissed‖. ; (3) In regulation ‗12‘, - (i) the sub-regulation (2) shall be omitted; (ii) the sub-regulation (3), the word figure & parenthesis ―and (2)‖ shall be omitted; (4) In regulation ‗15‘,- (i) In sub-regulation (1), for the words ―Chairperson‖ shall be substituted with ―Chief Executive Officer‖.; (ii) In sub-regulation (2), for the words ―Chairperson‖ shall be substituted with ―Chief Executive Officer‖.; (iii) In sub-regulation (4), for the words ―Chairperson‖ shall be substituted with ―Chief Executive Officer‖.;14 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART III—SEC.4] (5) In the Schedule, - (i) In the description of column (12), for the words ―Departmental Promotion Committee‖ shall means ―a committee for considering the cases of promotions as well as confirmation‖.
