This document is a Resolution from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce, Government of India, dated April 27, 2018. The purpose of these submissions is to notify the facility as a Customs area, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Customs Act 1962, its associated rules, and existing government policy and guidelines.

New Delhi, the 27th April, 2018
No. 16/05/1992-Infra-1 (Volume-II).—The Government of India after careful examination has decided to
withdraw with immediate effect, the Resolution No. 16/5/1992-Infra-1 dated 20-03-1992 along with subsequent
amendments thereafter dated 19.09.2011 and 10.10.2014 regarding the constitution of an Inter Ministerial Committee (IMC)
for setting up of Inland Container Depots (ICDs)/Container Freight Stations (CFSs)/Air Freight Stations (AFSs).

2. Henceforth, all applications pertaining to setting up of ICDs/CFSs/AFSs including cases pertaining to extension of
time shall be submitted directly to Joint Secretary (Customs), Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), North
Block, New Delhi-110001 (e mail: jscus@nic.in) for notifying the facility as Customs area in accordance with the relevant
provisions of the Customs Act 1962 and Rules thereunder and existing Government Policy and guidelines in this regard.
