NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 29th December, 2017
S.O. 77 (E).—The Government of India in its meeting held on 12th April 2017 decided “Directorate General of
Supplies and Disposals (DGS&D) shall be wound up and cease its functions by 31st October, 2017. In case it is not
possible to wind up DGS&D by 31st October 2017, the Department may extend the date of closure with proper
justification latest upto 31st March 2018.”
2. Pursuant to the decision, all the necessary actions for effecting closure of DGS&D have been completed and it
stands closed in the afternoon of 31st October 2017.
