Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4(4A) of Karnataka Land Revenue Act 1964, and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Government of Karnataka hereby alters the name of revenue district "Ramanagara" and renames as "Bengaluru South” of Karnataka State, and further declares “Ramanagara City” as District Headquarter.
