Ambedkar Veedhi Bengaluru, Date:31.05.2025 NOTIFICATION Whereas, the draft of Karnataka Employees State Insurance Scheme (Medical) Services (Recruitment) Rules, 2025 was published as required by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 3 read with section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990) in Notification No. No: LD 85 LSI 2023, Dated:13.05.2025 in Part IV-A of Volume No.160 of the Karnataka Gazette, Dated:15.05.2025 inviting objection and suggestions from persons likely to be affected within 15 days from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. Whereas, the said Gazette was made available to public on 15.05.2025. And whereas the objections and suggestions received in this behalf have been considered by the State Government. Now, therefore in exercise the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 read with section 8 of The Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990) the Government of Karnataka hereby makes the following rules, namely:- RULES 1. Title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka Employees State Insurance Scheme (Medical) Services (Recruitment) Rules, 2025.2 (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Method of recruitment and minimum qualification.- In suppression of Notification No. LD 176 LSI 2006, dated: 7th December 2007 the establishment of The Karnataka Employees State Insurance Scheme (Medical) Service in the Karnataka State Civil Services shall consist of each category of posts carrying scale of pay specified in column (2) of the schedule below, the number of posts, method of recruitment and the minimum qualification, if any, shall be as specified in the corresponding entries in column (3), (4), (5) and (6) thereof. 3. Repeal and Savings.- The Karnataka Employees State Insurance Scheme (Medical) Services (Recruitment) Rules, 2007 are hereby repealed. Provided that such repeal shall not affect, a. the previous operation of the said rules or anything duly done or suffered there under; or b. any right, privilege, obligation or liability already acquired, accrued or incurred under the said rules.
