Title and Commencement. - 1) These rules may be called the Karnataka Government (Allocation of Business) (Amendment) Rules, 2020. 2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Amendment of Schedule XXIII, - In the Karnataka Government (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1977, in schedule XXIII,- (i) for the heading “DEPARTMENT OF INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT”, the heading “DEPARTMENT OF INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT, PORTS AND INLAND WATER TRANSPORT”, shall be substituted;R.N.I. No. KARBIL/2001/47147 POSTAL REGN. No. RNP/KA/BGS/2202/2017-19 Licensed to post without prepayment WPP No. 297 3 (ii) under the sub-heading “B. CODES AND MANUALS”, for the words “Department of Infrastructure Development”, the words “Department of Infrastructure Development, Ports and Inland Water Transport”, shall be substituted; and (iii) under the sub-heading “C. RECRUITMENT RULES AND APPOINTMENTS”, for the words “Department of Infrastructure Development”, the words “Department of Infrastructure Development, Ports and Inland Water Transport”, shall be substituted.
