Anny objectioon or suuggestion which mmay be reeceived byy the Staate Governmment from any persoon with resspect to thhe said draaft before the expiryy of the period speciffied abovee will be considereed by thhe State GGovernmeent. Title annd Commmencemennt.- (1) Thhese ruless may bee called tthe Karnatakka Governnment Secrretariat Seervices (Reecruitmentt)(Amendmment) Rulles, 2020. (1)R.N.I. No. KARBIL/2001/47147 POSTAL REGN. No. RNP/KA/BGS/2202/2017-19 Licensed to post without prepayment WPP No. 297 2 (2) They shall come into force from the date of their final publication in the official Gazette. 2. Amendment of Schedule VI – In the Karnataka Government Secretariat Services (Recruitment) Rules, 2019, in Schedule VI, under the heading “OFFICE OF THE RESIDENT COMMISSIONER NEW DELHI”. (i) for serial number 6 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:- “6 Legal Officer 1 By Deputation of an officer not below the rank of an Under Secretary to Government from the Karnataka Government Secretariat Service or any of the State Civil Services possessing a degree in law. ’’ (ii) in serial number 8 in the category of posts of “Deputy Liaison Officer” for column (4) and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted. “By Promotion from the cadre of Office Superintendent or Assistant Liaison Officer.” (iii) the category of posts of “Despatch Rider (Three Wheeler)” at serial number 17 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted; and (iv) in serial number 18, the category of post of “Despatch Rider (Two Wheeler)” in column (3) for the figure “1”, the figure “2” shall be substituted.
