Whereas, the said Gazette was made available to the public on 12.10.2021 And whereas objections and suggestions received within the period above have been examined. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 read with section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act No. 14 of 1990), the Government of Karnataka, hereby makes the following rules, namely:- RULES 1. Title and commencement.-(1) These rules may be called the Karnataka State Police including Ministerial Services (Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules, 2021. (2) They shall come into force from the date of their final Publication in the official Gazette. 2. Amendment to the schedule.- In the Karnataka State Police including ministerial Services (Recruitment) Rules, 2004, in the schedule, (1)R.N.I. No. KARBIL/2001/47147 POSTAL REGN. No. RNP/KA/BGS/2202/2017-19 Licensed to post without prepayment WPP No. 297 2 (i) in the entries relating to the category of post of “Sub-Inspector of Police (Civil) (Men and Women)” at serial No. 10, in column No.(6), under the heading “minimum qualification”, under the sub-heading, "for promotion", in the proviso for the words “five years” the words “four years” shall be substituted. (ii) in the entries relating to the category of post of “Armed Reserve Sub-Inspector of Police” at serial No. 18, in column No.(6), under the heading “minimum qualification”, under the sub-heading, "for promotion", in the proviso for the words “five years” the words “four years” shall be substituted.
