(cid:315)(cid:175)ೇಷ (cid:170)ಾಜ(cid:205) ಪ(cid:294)(cid:206)(cid:144)ೆ ¨sÁU À – 4 , 23 2023((cid:168)ಾಘ 03 1944) . 34 Part – IV A BENGALURU, MONDAY, 23, JANUARY, 2023(MAGHA, 03, SHAKAVARSHA, 1944) No. 34 GOVERNMENT OF KARNATAKA No. HD/82/PPA/2020 Karnataka Government Secretariat Vidhana Soudha, Bengaluru, Dated:23.01.2023 NOTIFICATION Whereas the draft of the Karnataka State Police including Ministerial Services (Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules, 2021 was published as required by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 3 read with section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978, (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990) in Notification No. HD/30/PPA/2021, Bengaluru, dated:12.10.2021 in Part IV-A, No.835 of the Karnataka Gazette Extra-Ordinary dated:12.10.2021, inviting objections or suggestions from all the persons likely to be affected thereby within fifteen days from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. Whereas, the said Gazette was made available to the public on 06.01.2023 And, whereas no objections and suggestions have been received in this behalf by the State Government. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 read with section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act No. 14 of 1990), the Government of Karnataka, hereby makes the following rules, namely:- RULES 1. Title and commencement.-(1) These rules may be called the Karnataka State Police including Ministerial Services (Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules, 2022. (2) They shall come into force from the date of their final publication in the official Gazette. (1)R.N.I. No. KARBIL/2001/47147 POSTAL REGN. No. RNP/KA/BGS/2202/2017-19 Licensed to post without prepayment WPP No. 297 2 (3) These rules shall apply to the recruitment of Five hundred and Fifty six vacant posts of Sub-Inspector of Police (Civil)(Men and Women) as a one time measure only. 2. Amendment of schedule.- In the Karnataka State Police including ministerial Services (Recruitment) Rules, 2004, in the schedule, in the entries relating to the category of post of “Sub-Inspector of Police (Civil) (Men and Women)” at serial Number 10, under the heading “minimum qualification” in column Number (6), under the sub- heading ‘for the direct recruitment’ under "age limit", at serial Number (1), the figures and word “32 years” and at serial Number (2) the figures and word “30 years” substituted vide notification No. HD/84/PPA/2019-PS_B, dated:03.09.2020 shall be and shall be deemed always to have been substituted with effect from 01.04.2020.
