NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 1st July, 2015
S.O. 1788(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of
1956), the Central Government hereby makes following amendment in the Notification of the Government of India in
the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (Department of Road Transport and Highways) No. S.O. 912(E), dated
21.04.2010, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), namely:
1. Commencement: These amendments shall come into force on the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
2. After Table and before Notes, the following Para is inserted:
“The Fee shall be collected at one location, km 455.485 near Ghoti for the total Project stretch and there shall be
no other Toll Plaza in this stretch.”
3. In Notes 1 (iii), after the words “part of the said section”, the words “without crossing more than one of the toll
plazas” shall be omitted.
4. In Notes 1 (iv), after the words “routinely on the said section”, the words “without crossing more than one of the
Plazas” shall be omitted.
5. Note 5 shall be omitted.
6. Note 6 of the Schedule shall be substituted as under:

The Concessionaire shall not collect fees from Local Personal Traffic and Local Commercial Traffic in excess of the
following discounted rates, namely:—
(a) Local Personal Traffic: Twelve and half per cent of the fee applicable for the specific category of vehicle;
(b) Local Commercial Traffic: Twenty Five per cent of the fee applicable for the specific category of vehicle.

The Concessionaire shall not collect fees from Local Personal Traffic and Local Commercial Traffic in excess of the
following discounted rates, namely:—
(a) Local Personal Traffic: Twenty Five per cent of the applicable fees for the specific category of vehicle.
(b) Local Commercial Traffic: Fifty per cent of the applicable fees for the specific category of vehicle.
