NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 30th August, 2019
No. RT-25043/03/2017-RS.—The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways has constituted a
District Road Safety Committee under the chairmanship of Hon’ble Member of parliament (Lok
Sabha) from the district to promote awareness amongst road users vide Notification No. RT-
25043/03/2017-RS dated 28th September, 2017.
2. Now, the Ministry hereby renames the “The District Road Safety Committee under the
chairmanship of Hon’ble Member of parliament (Lok Sabha)” as “Parliamentary Constituency
Committee for Road Safety”.
3. The Composition, Terms of reference and other provisions of the Committee will remain
unaltered.
4. This issues with the approval of Hon’ble Minister for Road Transport & Highways.
