Central Universities, is pleased to direct that the following amendments shall be made in the categories and guidelines
governing the Visitor’s Awards published in Part I, Section 1 of the Gazette of India (Extraordinary) of October 24, 2014
and in Part I, Section 1 of the Gazette of India (Extraordinary) of April 10, 2015 under Notification Nos. 72-Pres/2014
dated October 22, 2014 and 32-Pres/2015 dated April 6, 2015, respectively:-
In the table in para 1 of the Notifications No. 72-Pres/2014 dated October 22, 2014 and No. 32-Pres/2015 dated April 6,
2015, -
(i) In Serial No. 2 relating to Visitor’s Award for Innovation, for the entries under column “Details”, the
following shall be substituted:-
“Citation and Cash reward of Rupees One Lakh to each individual of the winning entry subject to a limitation of
total amount of Rupees Five Lakh; however, if the number of individuals in a group exceeds five members, the
Cash reward of Rupees Five Lakh will be equally distributed amongst the members of the group”
(ii) Serial No. 3 relating to Visitor’s Award for Research and entries relating thereto shall be omitted and the
following serial numbers and entries under the columns “Sl. No.”, “Title of the Award” and “Details” shall
