No. NU, EC CELL-4/06.—The president of India in the capacity of Visitor, Nagaland University has
been pleased to approve the amendment of the Statute 2 (4) of the Nagaland University Act, 1989 as under:-
“2(4) The Vice Chancellor shall hold office for a term of five years from the date on which he enters
upon his office, or until he attains the age of seventy years, whichever is earlier, and he shall be
eligible for reappointment for a second term.”
