समापन प्रदिया मंजत्रमंडल के दिनांक 12.11.2025 के जनणाय से 6 महीने की अिजध के भीतर पूरी कर ली िाए।

RESOLUTION
New Delhi, the 16th December, 2025
F.No. AI/1/05/TIFAC/2025.—The Government of India decided to close Technology Information
Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC), established on 10.02.1988 as Society having Registration no. S/18632
of 1988 under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. It was further directed that the closure exercise be completed
within a period of 6 months from the date of decision of the Cabinet i.e. 12.11.2025.
2. Pursuant to the decision, all the necessary actions for closure of TIFAC have been completed and it stands
closed w.e.f. 08.12.2025. Technology Development Board (TDB), New Delhi under DST has been entrusted to deal
with all the residual administrative matters, all remaining activities and programs, ongoing legal cases, recovery of
funds, receiving of royalty/ profits, any other work, etc.
