S.O. 466(E).—Whereas M/s TRN Energy Limited, the applicant with its Registered Office at 18, Vasant Enclave, Rao
Yularam Marg, New Delhi-110057 has applied for approval under Section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for construction of 400 kV
NC. dedicated transmission line frorn TRN Energy Limited 2X300 MW Generation Switcliyard to 765/400 kV Raigarh (Tamnar)
pooling station of PGCIL.
And whereas Governrnent of india, Ministry of Power vide letter No. 11/3/2013-PG(TRN Energy Limited) dated
28.03.2013 had granted prior approval under sub-section(1) of Section 68 of the Electricity Act, 2003 to M/s TRN Energy Limited for
construction of dedicated transmission line with the following scope of works.
Dedicated Transmission System:
. TRN Generating Station Switchyard — 765/400 kV Raigarh (Tamnar) Pooling Station of PGCIL 400 kV D/C line.
And whereas the applicant has now requested to confer upon him all the powers under section 164 of the Electricity Act,
2003 which telegraph authority possess under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to the placing of telegraph lines and posts
for the purposes of a telegraph established or maintained by the Government or to be so established or maintained for the works. The
transmission line covered under the scherne will pass through, over, around and between the following villages, towns and cities :-

Now, therefore, after careful consideration, Government of India, Ministry of Power, confers, under section 164 of the
Electricity Act, 2003, all the powers on the applicant which telegraph authority possesses under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with
respect to the placing of telegraph lines and posts for the purposes of a telegraph established or maintained by the Government or to
be so established or maintained subject to following terms and conditions for installing the above mentioned interstate transmission
lines for inter-state transmission of electricity, namely:-
i) the approval is granted for 25 years;
(ii) the Applicant shall have to seek the consent of the concerned authorities i.e. local bodies, Railways,
National Highways, State Highways etc. before erection of proposed lines;
(iii) the Applicant shall have to follow regulations /codes of the appropriate commission regarding
transmission, O&M, open access etc;
(iv) the Applicant has been entrusted with the responsibility of construction of 400 kV D/C dedicated
transmission line from TRN Energy Limited 2X300 MW Generation Switchyard to 765/400 kV Raigarh
(Tamnar) pooling station of PGCIL. The details of the works are published in the Gazette of India of
February 9 ~ February 15, 2013.
(¥) the Applicant shall operate the lines after approval of Chief Electrical inspector of respective States;
(vi) the approval is subject to compliance by the Applicant of the requirement of the provisions of The
Electricity Act, 2003 and the rules made thereunder.
