NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 17th February, 2015
S.O. 596 (E).- Whereas, M/s. Ansal SEZ Projects Limited, a Private Organization in the State of Haryana,
had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said
Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and Information Technology
enabled services at Badshahpur Village (District-Gurgaon), on Gurgaon-Sohna Road in the State of Haryana;
And, Whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of
the said Act, read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules, 2006, had notified an area of 10.9915 hectares vide
Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S. O. 1144(E), dated 15th May, 2008;
And, Whereas, M/s. Ansal SEZ Projects Limited has proposed to denotify the entire area of 10.9915 hectares of
the above Special Economic Zone and the Central Government has granted letter of approval for de-notification of
above area on 17th July, 2012;
And, Whereas, the State Government of Haryana has given its “No Objection” to the proposal vide letter
No. Memo No. Exp/SEZ/Ansal/5876A, dated 13th June, 2012.
And, Whereas, the Development Commissioner, Noida Special Economic Zone has recommended the proposal
for de-notification of the entire area of 10.9915 Hectares of the Special Economic Zone;
Now, Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by first proviso to rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones
Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby rescinds the above notification except as respects things done or omitted to
be done before such rescission.
