Short title and commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Warehousing (Development and Regulation) Registration of Warehouses (Amendment) Rules, 2015. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Warehousing (Development and Regulation) Registration of Warehouses Rules, 2010 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), in rule 5, for the words “nationalised bank in favour of the Drawing and Disbursing Officer, Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority, payable at New Delhi”, the words “scheduled commercial bank in favour of the Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority payable at New Delhi or through Electronic Clearing System” shall be substituted; 3. In the said rules, in rule 6, for the words “nationalised bank in favour of Drawing and Disbursing Officer, Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority, payable at New Delhi”, the words “scheduled commercial bank in favour of the Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority payable at New Delhi or through Electronic Clearing System” shall be substituted; 4. In the said rules, in rule 8, for clause (i) the following clause shall be substituted, namely:— “(i) proof of ownership or lease deed or rent agreement, showing possession of the warehouse,”; 5. In the said rules, in rule 13,—¹Hkkx IIµ[k.M 3(i)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 3 (i) in sub-rule (1), the words “in duplicate” shall be omitted; (ii) for sub-rule (3), the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely:— “(3) Any registered warehouseman desirous of renewal of registration, may make an application to the Authority in Form A1 within three months before the expiry of the period of registration.”.
