2. The appointment of the aforesaid officer to the post of Senior Principal Private Secretary of CSSS cadre on regular
basis shall be subject to:—
I. further orders that may be passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the Jarnail Singh batch of cases
{Civil Appeal No 629 of 2022 arising out of SLP (C) No. 30621 of 2011}.
II. Any other court cases in a connected matter.
3. Under the provisions of FR 22(1)(a)(1), the officer is entitled to exercise his option for pay fixation within
30 days from the date of issue of this notification.

inclusion of their names in SGSL 2023 will remain subject to further orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the Civil
Appeal No. 629 of 2022 arising out of SLP(C) No. 30621/2011 titled Shri Jarnail Singh & Ors. Vs. Lachhmi Narain Gupta &
Ors. and other connected matters.
