(क) जो सांसद इस सिमित के सद(cid:7021)य ह(cid:7289), वे सांसद न रहने पर इस सिमित के सद(cid:7021)य भी नह(cid:7277) रहग(cid:7286) े।
(ख) सिमित के पदने सद(cid:7021)य अपने पद पर काय(cid:6981) करते रहने तक ही सिमत के सद(cid:7021)य ह(cid:7298)गे।
(ग) यिद िकसी सद(cid:7021)य के (cid:7004)यागप(cid:7074) दने े, मृ(cid:7004)यु आिद के कारण सिमित म(cid:7286) कोई (cid:7021)थान िर(cid:7334) होता है तो उनके (cid:7021)थान पर िनयु(cid:7334) िकए गए

FUNCTIONS OF THE COMMITTEE
The main function of the Samiti is to render advice for implementation of the principles relating to Official
Language as given in the Constitution, the decisions and directions of the Kendriya Hindi Samiti and Department of Official

TENURE OF THE COMMITTEE
The term of the Samiti will be Three years from the date of its reconstitution provided that :—
(a) a member who is a member of Parliament shall cease to be the member of the Samiti as soon as he ceases to be
a Member of Parliament;
(b) ex-officio members of the Samiti shall continue as members as long as they hold office by virtue of which they
are members of the Samiti;
(c) if a vacancy arises on the Samiti due to resignation, death etc. of a member, the member appointed in that
capacity shall hold office for the residual term of three years.
T. A. AND OTHER ALLOWANCES
The non-official members will be paid travelling allowance by shortest route from their residence to the place of
meeting as per their entitlement. They will also be paid daily allowance on rates fixed by the Government of India from time
to time.
HEADQUARTERS OF THE SAMITI
The Headquarters of the Samiti shall be in New Delhi.
